Leader of the Herd for Kinship Caregivers
June 14, 2024, 9:30 am-1:30 pm (weather delay date 6/21/24)
Thank you for your interest in Leader of the Herd. Please read these notes before completing the registration form below.
PLEASE NOTE, THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR CAREGIVERS ONLY AND NO CHILDCARE IS AVAILABLE ON SITE.
If you would like to register two people, for example yourself and your spouse/partner/significant other, or any other adult directly involved in the care of your child(ren), please complete your own registration and then revisit this page to fill out a separate registration for the other person.
Please remember, this program takes place outdoors in direct contact with horses, on ground that may be lumpy, uneven or muddy. Adequate mobility and limb control are necessary to safely participate in our programs. If you have concerns about your ability to safely participate in a program, please contact us directly to discuss available accommodations.
Because we are an entirely outdoor facility, our programs can be impacted by inclement weather. It’s possible we’ll have to cancel a program with short notice due to the weather forecast. Please take note of the pre-determined weather delay date of June 21. We recommend blocking out both dates on your calendar just in case the workshop can’t be held on the original date.
A light lunch will be provided. However, at this time we have limited ability to accommodate special dietary needs. Please contact Leslie at leslie@groundworkranch.org to discuss your needs. If you do have significant dietary restrictions, we suggest you bring food you know you can eat. Thank you for understanding.
After completing the form, you’ll be prompted to download a PDF that contains two additional documents each participant must complete, sign, and bring with them to the workshop as well as directions to the ranch and some information about what to expect.
