Thank you for your interest in helping us deliver our equine-assisted programs to the people most in need. As a small, local nonprofit organization, we rely on the help of community members like you. There are three ways you can help.
Donate
Your donation helps us bring the power of equine-assisted learning to more people as well as feed our horses and keep them healthy. We gratefully accept monetary donations of any amount. (If you choose to make a donation, keep in mind that many companies match employee contributions!) We also gratefully accept donations of hay, grain, and several other items that help keep the ranch running. If you’d like to make a material donation, please contact us for our current needs/wish list. Thank you for anything you chose to give.
Sponsorships
If you think your company, community agency, or church group would be interested in sponsoring one of our programs, then we’d love to hear from you. Opportunities range from sponsoring a single participant to sponsoring an entire workshop or multi-week program. You can even sponsor one of our horses for a month, quarter, or a full year. We gratefully acknowledge our sponsors in all our community relations and marketing. Plus, we display the logos of our corporate sponsors on our fences that line a busy intersection in Louisville.
Volunteer
We couldn’t run the ranch without the help of our dedicated volunteer ranch hands. If you’d like to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty, we happily accept volunteers at least 18 years old (16 with parent or guardian consent). We have several different of volunteer opportunities ranging from cleaning the barn and our horse gear to mucking the paddock to grooming the horses. Volunteer shifts can be very flexible to accommodate your schedule. We also gratefully accept volunteers to help with social media and public outreach.
